A highly devoted and motivated music educator with over 12-year experience in teaching music theory, musical performance and instruments in schools as well as over 20-year experience in teaching piano and violin across China, USA and UK.

I am passionate about music education and music is not just about rhythm and melody, it is also an ability to connect minds, emotions, the body and creativity with one another, which I firmly believe can play a very important part for personality development when growing up.

The reason I am attracted to The Rock Project is that the sessions are constructed in a very sociable environment, and tutors encourage students’ curiosity and creativity. This is very similar to my teaching approach and belief.
